Bakery
Breads
We have our own onsite fully functional bakery and are pleased to say that we produce over 90% of all our bakery stock.
We use the traditional methods for producing our bread ranges and have worked closely with leading bakery suppliers, such as Ireks of Germany probably the world leader in bread development, looking at ideas for confectionery and savouries.
We make our bread each morning to give our customers the freshest possible product and our core range includes:
- Tinned White/Farmhouse
- Wholemeal
- Granary
- Multiseed (malted brown with pumpkin and sunflower amongst other seeds – this is a low GI bread)
- French Sticks, 30″ long
- Twists (short French Stick)
- Bread Rolls in a variety of flours for either sandwiches or soup
- Vienna Rolls (these are baked under steam for a crisp top)
- Country Rye
We also make flavoured breads such as Fried Onion Loaves, Mediterranean Flavour (sun-dried tomato, paprika, oregano), Honey & Spelt, Olive Breads to name but a few.
All our white loaves are made using a little sour dough for that extra flavour.
